Charity Football Tournament in Coventry raises £550 for Pakistani flood victims MKMA Youth FC shock adult team The action kicked off and after just five minutes, the youth team found themselves 1-0 down after some miscommunicating between defenders led to a sloppy goal, tapped in by Mahmoud Ageli. It looked like the youth team's two-year unbeaten record was going to slip away when brother Nordin smashed home to make it 2-0 to the adults after about 15 minutes. Clifford butau pulled one back to make it 2-1 on the 20 minute mark. One quickly became two when Mohammed Minani grabbed the equaliser shortly afterwards, and Jamie Bosdet fired home from twenty-five yards to give the youth team a narrow but deserved 3-2 lead at half time The early confidence of the adults deserted them and they physically began to wilt and tire in the second half. The adults had a one-on-one chance to make it 3-3 but some superb goalkeeping from Muhammad Sabre Abdullah kept the youth team ahead and allowed a quick breakaway which resulted in Ricky Hinrainer making it 4-2. John Harman made it 5-2 to the youngsters when he scored his first goal for the team by drilling a superb effort into the top corner. Clifford scored his second of the game and sixth goal in his last 3 matches after cooly slotting home in the bottom corner before duly celebrating with a nice flip. Mahmoud Ageli pulled a late consolation goal back for the adults to make the final score MKMA Youth 6 MKMA Adults 3. Man of the match: Muhammad Sabre Abdullah. Great performance from all the youngsters. The adults need to work on their fitness. Football training for 14-18 year olds every Saturday 12-2pm @ Oldbrook
On Sunday 5th September (during Ramadan) nine brothers from Milton keynes travelled to Coventry to take part in a football tournament with a twist - all players had to wear a thobe/jubba/salwar kameez etc! It was hard work fasting as well as try to run in a long gown but it was great fun and alhamdulilah we helped to raise £550 for the flood victims. Each player paid £10 to participate and some players also did goal bonuses, pledging a certain amount of money for each goal scored. £115 was the total amount donated from the Milton Keynes contingent masha'Allah. May Allah reward the organisers and participators. May Allah ease the suffering of our brothers & sisters in Pakistan. Ameen.

On a freezing cold, wet spring afternoon in Bletchley, MKMA Youth FC faced arguably their toughest opposition to date - MKMA adults.
MKMA FC win again.
Unbeaten since 2008, MKMA Youth FC took on MKCCC FC (Chinese Christian Church) in a friendly match at Leon School in Bletchley on Saturday 13th March. After beating MK Durbar 12-0 in our last match, our mixed aged team (14-19) went into this match feeling pretty confident.
However, after ten minutes we found ourselves 1-0 down due to an error in defence. Clifford Butau equalised after about 25 minutes and Jamie Bosdet made it 2-1 to give MKMA a narrow lead before half time. In the second half MKMA's superior fitness and skill began to shine and we ran in a further five goals without reply. Clifford Butau scored twice more, completing his hatrick. Other goals came from Luqman Mohammed, Abdu Salam & team Captain, Sabri Salim.
Final Score - MKMA FC 7 MKCCC FC 1.
