How to sponsor a square of the masjid!







For £500 you can sponsor approximately 45 sq. ft. of the Coffee Hall site allocated for the MKICC. Particular areas can also be sponsored if requested (i.e. area under library etc).

A map with numbered squares, allowing you to see which squares/areas are available, will be available at jumuah in Fishermead and will be held by brother Salum Masoud.

When sponsoring a square you will receive a certificate and receipt as proof of sponsorship. Please see a member of the MKMA management committee regarding this initiative. There are 1,000 squares available so be quick and get the space you like! 

MKMA is also giving you the opportunity to sponsor your square by monthly installments by filling in this standing order form, and returning it to the address indicated within. Please visit this site regularly to track the progress of our Islamic centre fundraising.

  Remember to GIFT AID your square
Before you submit your donations please hand us your Gift Aid form. Using Gift Aid means that for every &1 pound you give, the Inland Revenue gives us an extra 28p, helping your donation go further. (if the first £500.000 is donated as gift aid it means we get an extra £140.000 so it really makes a lot of difference!).To qualify for Gift Aid, what you pay in income tax or capital gains tax must at least equal the amount we will claim in the tax year. If you are a higher rate taxpayer, you can claim the difference between the higher rate of tax at 40 per cent and the basic rate of tax at 22 per cent on the total value to the charity of your donation. If you do not pay tax, you should not use Gift Aid. Giving donations through Gift Aid costs you nothing but gives us much!

It's very simple to use Gift Aid, Just simply contact info@mkmuslims.org and give your full name and address. Also please write these words:  'I wish MKMA to treat all donations from the date of this declaration until I notify you otherwise as Gift Aid Donations'.
